The Interuniversity Council (ÜAK) Meeting was held with the participation of the President of the Higher Education Council (YÖK), Prof. Dr. Erol Özvar, the President of the Interuniversity Council, Prof. Dr. Hüsnü Kapu, and university rectors. Prof. Dr. Ali Özen, Rector of Tarsus University, also attended the meeting hosted by YÖK.
During the meeting, where current issues on the higher education agenda were comprehensively discussed, evaluations were made regarding quality-oriented transformation in higher education, internationalization, micro-credentials, university-industry collaboration, employment-oriented education models, and the studies being carried out within the framework of the "Roadmap for Turkish Higher Education Towards 2030."
The meeting also featured an exchange of views on improving universities' activities in the fields of education, research, and social contribution. In addition, discussions focused on institutional accreditation efforts at universities, the development of artificial intelligence and digitally based programs, and initiatives aimed at strengthening the relationship between education and employment.
