The Higher Education Council (YÖK) published the YÖK University Monitoring and Evaluation General Report 2025, which assessed universities' performance in education, academic output, and scientific impact using numerous indicators. According to the report, Tarsus University achieved significant success by ranking highly in many indicators.
It ranked first as the university with the highest average number of publications in journals included in the TR DIZIN. In terms of academic productivity indicators, Tarsus University ranked second in Turkey in terms of the number of publications per faculty member in journals indexed by TR DIZIN. Furthermore, it ranked fifth in terms of the annual number of publications per faculty member in journals and books indexed in the Web of Science database.
Tarsus University also demonstrated remarkable performance in education quality and satisfaction indicators, ranking 11th among universities with the highest satisfaction rates for course delivery and rising to 11th place in the 2024 TÜDA data for faculty satisfaction rankings. The university ranked 12th in the 2024 Science Communication Activity Count. Tarsus University ranked 16th in the Category Normalised Citation Impact ranking, which is among the leading universities in terms of indicators demonstrating scientific impact.
These data, announced by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK), reveal that Tarsus University continues its steady rise in the areas of educational quality, academic productivity, and scientific impact.
