As part of the afforestation protocol signed between Tarsus University and Mersin Regional Directorate of Forestry, a sapling planting event was held in the Tarsus University Science Forest, which was established within the Karabucak Eucalyptus Forest. The event was attended by the Rector of Tarsus University, Prof. Dr. Ali Özen, the Director of the Tarsus Forest Enterprise, Muhammet Köse, and academics who have achieved academic success through the university’s scientific publications and research projects.
During the event, saplings were planted in honor of academics who have contributed to the university’s research and publication activities, as well as students who had graduated from the university. Following the afforestation activities, the event concluded with a commemorative group photograph.
