Tarsus University signed a cooperation protocol with the Tarsus District Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry and the Tarsus District Directorate of Youth and Sports to support young people’s active participation in agricultural production processes and to develop their agricultural entrepreneurship capabilities.
Under the protocol, signed by Tarsus University Rector Prof. Dr. Ali Özen, Tarsus District Director of Agriculture and Forestry Mustafa Ateş, and Acting Tarsus District Director of Youth and Sports Memet Öztürk, the initiative aims to raise awareness among young people who are engaged in agricultural production or are just starting out about career planning in the agricultural sector, and to support them in gaining competencies in product development, branding, promotion, and digital marketing. Additionally, the protocol aims to carry out training sessions, seminars, hands-on workshops, activities, and other collaborative efforts to be conducted under the “From Harvest to Market Program.”
