A conference was held at Tarsus University in collaboration with the Tarsus Mufti's Office to mark the Week of the Birth of the Prophet. In line with the theme set by the Presidency of Religious Affairs for this year, the event focused on the topic of family.
The programme, held in the Şehit İstihkâm Üsteğmen Ozan Olgu Conference Hall, began with a moment of silence and the Turkish national anthem. Following the recitation of the Holy Quran by Mahmut Turan, Imam Hatib of Tarsus Ulu Mosque, the programme continued with a video presentation. The programme concluded with a lecture entitled ‘Our Prophet and Family Ethics (My Family's Language of Communication)’ given by Murat Akçay, Mufti of Tarsus District.
