Tarsus University hosted the Tarsus Industry Summit, where young people came together with industry professionals. Supported by the Ministry of Youth and Sports and organised in collaboration with Ünides, Tarsus University, the Industrial Engineering Society and Human Student Developers, the event took place in the Şehit İstihkâm Üsteğmen Ozan Olgu Köreke Conference Hall.
The programme, held on 9 December 2025, brought students and business representatives together on the same platform, creating a ground for sharing knowledge, experience and vision. Throughout the day, participants gained up-to-date information on sectoral transformation, technology trends and career opportunities from representatives of Turkey's leading companies.
The summit featured Tarsus University Rector Prof. Dr. Ali Özen, TOFAŞ Türk Otomobil Fabrikası A.Ş. Regional Sales Manager Göktürk Doğan, Huawei Developer Relations Manager Kübra Bilgiç, and Ford Otosan Software Developer Fırat Kahreman. The speakers shared their experiences with the students through presentations on various topics, ranging from production technologies to software development, and from transformation in the automotive industry to new employment opportunities in the business world. The summit, which progressed interactively with question-and-answer sessions, enabled participants to gain technical knowledge and establish important connections that will shape their career plans.
