Under the leadership of our University Rector, Prof. Dr. Ali Özen, an evaluation meeting was held on Thursday, 18 December 2025, at 3:00 p.m. in the Şehit İstihkâm Üsteğmen Ozan Olgu Köreke Conference Hall.
Speaking at the opening of the meeting, Rector Prof. Dr. Ali Özen evaluated the process the university has undergone since its establishment and thanked all academic and administrative staff for their contributions to the achievements made.
Continuing his speech, Prof. Dr. Ali Özen shared roadmaps with participants regarding areas where the university could continue to increase its success in the national and international academic community. He stated that the intensive efforts and determined work demonstrated by Tarsus University in a short period of time encouraged the Rectorate to set higher goals. In this context, he emphasised that one of the administration's most important motivational goals was to obtain the title of ‘Research University’.
Stating that the set goal would ensure that the successes achieved by Tarsus University in reputable indicators spread to wider areas and become permanent, Rector Özen also shared the university's strategic roadmap for the coming period with the participants.
At the end of the meeting, Rector Prof. Dr. Ali Özen thanked all academic and administrative staff who contributed to the evaluation process and stated that the university would resolutely continue its work with a spirit of collective wisdom and cooperation in line with the set goals.
