On October 27, 2026, the Presidency’s Communications Directorate organized a panel in Ankara titled “From Zero Waste to COP31: Turkey’s Climate Diplomacy.” The panel, which assessed climate change and international climate policies, addressed the relationship between the zero-waste approach and climate policies, Turkey’s role in climate diplomacy, and efforts related to the COP31 process.
As part of COP31, Tarsus University accepted project, event, and activity proposals submitted by academic units in July. Faculty members whose proposals were accepted—including Assistant Professor Yasin Özay (Environmental Protection Technologies), Associate Professor Emine Atalay (Management and Organization), Associate Professor Esra Enes (Design), Associate Professor Halil Kanadıkırık (Political Science and Public Administration), and Lecturer Meltem Kaygusuz, Ph.D. (Foreign Languages), participated in the panel.
