The Computer Programming, Logistics, and Civil Aviation Management Programmes within the Vocational School of Tarsus University have been accredited for a period of two years following an evaluation process conducted by the Vocational Education Evaluation and Accreditation Association (MEDEK).
Comprehensive inspections were carried out at the Vocational School as part of the accreditation visits conducted by the Evaluation Team appointed by MEDEK. During the visit, meetings were held with the management of the Vocational School, teaching staff, students, administrative personnel and external stakeholders; education and training processes, programme outcomes, physical and academic infrastructure and quality assurance systems were evaluated in detail.
As a result of the evaluations, it was determined that the three programmes in question met the quality standards set by MEDEK, and it was decided to accredit them for a period of two years.
The accreditation process is considered an important indicator of the Vocational School's quality-focused approach to education and its commitment to continuous improvement. It is also seen as a significant achievement in terms of strengthening application-based vocational education, developing programme curricula, and enhancing the sectoral competencies of graduates.
